I'm ashamed to say we are long time customers and I have YET to give my good friends at Mousa a review. This is long overdue. From the minute you walk in, you will feel welcome. If Sofia the manager is there, which she almost ALWAYS is, you will understand what it's like to be greeted with warmth and respect. She is one of the most talented restaurant managers I've ever encountered, and my wife and I are foodies so we've seen and experienced alot. Sam the bartender is also equally warm and friendly, and one hell of a bartender and server. The cocktails are extraordinary. And the food is high end cuisine, no cheap ingredients. Wife and I are bar folks but when we go with friends, we get a table and the servers there are also professional and very inviting. So the staff and hospitality gets an A+++++++++. Although everything on the menu is a winner, try this for a meal for 2. some of our favorites and we mix it up every time we go here. 06/23/2026 Second stop on the road heading West and my wife found this excellent restaurant in the middle of Joliet. Our waiter, Nick was very patient in answering all our questions and very personable. We started with the spread sampler which was plentiful. My wife had read how their steak was "amazing" so we went with the Mprizola (a 16 oz steak) that was served perfectly and was an excellent cut of meat. Paired with the steak we shared the grilled vegetables which were also excellent. Knowing we were heading for a wedding and probably "too much" food, we passed on any dessert. Thought about stopping in on the return trip, but ended up taking a different route. Next time though...

Five stars! The food and service here are absolutely fantastic. The saganaki was perfect, and the chicken kabobs were incredibly tender, juicy, and flavorful. Beyond the amazing food, the staff was so warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome from start to finish. It’s rare to find a place where both the eats and the hospitality are this flawless. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Easily one of the best places to sit down in Joliet. Spreadables were classic, delicious, and offered a lot of variety. Seafood was extremely fresh and the dish complimented the flavor profile well - didn't drown it in sauce. The chicken gyro was much fresher than I expected too, not overly salted or processed like most places you go. Our waiter was the gentleman with long hair, he was fantastically attentive without being disruptive, and professional. I would love to see a revamp/upscale of the NA mocktail menu. Overall, a must visit.
